Volunteers are precious people. Volunteers demonstrate personal commitments of giving themselves, their talents, and their time to an organization in which they have passionate support towards its activities. The volunteer is one of the most valuable assets any organization can possess. There is a tendency to associate volunteers exclusively with nonprofit organizations; however, many for-profit entities capitalize on volunteer participation.  A nonprofit environment such as a local church will depend on volunteer engagement to provide service and intervention to its supporters.  In addition, volunteer participation can offset expenses in order to meet an annual budget.
